Spring Breakdown (Carter House Girls) by Melody Carlson
February 5, 2010 9:30 am Chick-litAnother one of my very favorite authors, Melody Carlson is responsible for other great Christian chick lit titles like Limelight, A Mile in My FlipFlops and These Boots Weren’t Made for Walking. Her Carter House Girls series may be YA (young adult), but I still love it. The characters are sweet and the situations they find themselves in are hilarious!

Melody Carlson has written more than 200 books for teens, women, and children.
Before publishing, Melody traveled around the world, volunteered in teen ministry, taught preschool, raised two sons, and worked briefly in interior design and later in international adoption.
“I think real-life experiences inspire the best friction,” she says. Her wide variety of books seems to prove this theory.

It is time for a FIRST Wild Card Tour book review! If you wish to join the FIRST blog alliance, just click the button. We are a group of reviewers who tour Christian books. A Wild Card post includes a brief bio of the author and a full chapter from each book toured. The reason it is called a FIRST Wild Card Tour is that you never know if the book will be fiction, non~fiction, for young, or for old…or for somewhere in between! Enjoy your free peek into the book!
You never know when I might play a wild card on you!
