I was really impressed with Redefining Beautiful. Jenna Lucado (daughter of the much-loved author Max Lucado) writes with an honest, authentic voice that drew me in and made me feel like I was sitting and chatting about the topic with a friend. I especially loved her beauty tips – which range from “Vaseline Fixes” (who knew Vaseline was so versatile?!) to “Date Clothes” to “Embrace Your Weirdness.”
Redefining Beautiful is a fun book that is perfect for anyone struggles with self-esteem, self-image issues. I’m planning to keep this in my library and go through it with my daughter in the years to come. There are questions and spots to fill in answers that make this a great book to work together with your child or someone you’re mentoring.
Can’t wait to see more from Jenna Lucado!
