“The Christian Mama’s Guide to Having a Baby” is a step-by-step, nitty-gritty guide for expectant mothers. This down to earth guide easily walks the reader through anything and everything you can think of with regards to being pregnant. Need to know what to pack for your hospital bag and what to leave home (and why)? It is in there. How about a list of to-do’s to remind your hubby to do before your trip to the hospital or a list of things to make sure to tackle in your second trimester? It is in there, too, and more!
One thing in particular that I appreciate about this unique and uncanny guide is how thorough Erin MacPherson covers each topic. MacPherson, in a friendly, conversational manner, goes beyond the basics and shares her personal experiences and explains the why’s and how’s.
For me, MacPherson’s thoroughness put to rest the jitters and fears, mostly of the unknown, I have personally about getting pregnant in the near future. I mean, WOW, so much info is packed in MacPherson’s guide. That did not stop me, though, from zooming through her guide in just a few days…I just could not put the book down. MacPherson’s infusion of humor and her down-to-earth style made you feel as if you’re talking about it all with your best girl-friend.
This book has a permanent spot in my library.
