Paige and Erin Forrester are sisters, but could not be more different. Paige is a fashionista who loves attention and drama while Erin goes to Television and Film school at UCLA and prefers to be behind the camera and out of the spotlight. When the opportunity comes along for them to have their own reality television show, Paige is thrilled, but Erin only agrees to keep an eye on her scatterbrained sister.
To promote their new show, On The Runway, Paige and Erin are invited to join the cast of another reality show, Malibu Beach, for a few parties to gain publicity. However, through Paige’s bad choices, they end of with the kind of publicity they weren’t looking for.
Erin is a Christian and prays that her sister will see how her choices are hurting not only herself, but everyone around her. She also wants Paige to see that knowing Jesus is what she needs in her life, not all the attention from the shallow members of a television show.
Melody Carlson knows exactly how to write for teens. The story is fun, interesting, and the characters are believable. The story is clean and has a good message and I would recommend it to any teen, including my own 13 year-old daughter.
