Jill and Mitch have been close friends ever since he was the first fireman on the scene of her husband’s logging accident that caused his death. When an explosion happens at a warehouse just outside of town leaving two dead and three children orphaned, Jill and Mitch are brought together in a way they never could’ve imagined.

The three kids are given to Jill to care for until the courts can decide what to do.
