The story is about a girl trying out for the Titan’s cheerleading squad and worrying about who will ask her to the Sunshine Dance (her best friend, Evan, or the cool guy, Bevan?). Zoe also finds herself having to worry about her school rival, Katie.
Zoe is a wannabe cheerleader who wants to try out for the Titan’s cheerleading squad, but her rival, Katie, stands in the way. Katie is a mean-girl type of person who will push people out of her way to get what she wants. Bevan is the soccer superstar who is loved by all the girls. Evan is a total smarty pants, but will do anything to help his best friend Zoe.
The author did a great job at writing the story. This book was an easy one to read. The way the dialogue was written was similar to how my friends and I talk to each other, so the characters were easy to relate to. Honestly, I think they could have put more pictures in the book. Where there were pictures, Brigette did a great job at making them go along with the story. Brigette always makes a great cover for the book, but I like this one the most.
I would think this is a book that more tweens and teens would read; especially those age 11 through 15. I liked this book, and I think I would read it again. But being a Christian, I did not like that they put “OMG” in it. But other than that it was a great book.
Rated PG: I rated it PG because of the use of some language, like “OMG.”
