In this book of the series, “Cheer…Confessions of a Wannabe Cheerleader”, Zoe is getting ready for a big competition, but she has two people standing in her way, Katie and Clementine. For one, Evan, her crush is taking her on her first ever date! With all this great stuff happening will Zoe allow Clementine to get in her way?
Zoe is a great girl who wants to do a great job at the big competition. Evan is the geeky guy who may possibly end up being Zoe’s boyfriend. Katie, who is still as mean as ever, has a new friend named Clementine. Clementine is a Titan’s Extraordinaire, and is standing with Katie in front of Zoe.
Zoe Evans told this story as if she were talking to a friend, and this makes the reader feel like that friend, which was a plus for me. The artwork done by Brigette Barranger, was still as good as ever, but I would still like to see more of it in the next few books. The book could have done fine without saying “OMG” in it as often as they did. However, I still think the book was great.
I would recommend this book to kids 11 and over, and I would definitely read this book again. I think this book is wonderful, even though I really don’t like that they said “OMG” so much in the book.
Rated PG: Because of some language.
