Louisa Schmetterling has just arrived in America. She’s a German freedom fighter, who has to come stay with a minister’s family to await the end of the war. Because of the anti-Nazi activities she was involved in while in Germany, her life was in danger. Her plan is to bide her time in America until she can return to the country she loves.
