About Patricia Hickman:
Patricia Hickman is an award-winning author of fiction and non-fiction, whose work has been praised by critics and readers alike.

Patricia Hickman began writing many years ago after an invitation to join a writer’s critique group. It was headed up by best-selling author Dr. Gilbert Morris, a pioneer in Christian fiction who has written many best selling titles. The group eventually came to be called the “Nubbing Chits”. Hey everyone! Radiant Lit was able to snag a second interview with Megan DiMaria. Her second novel is the continuing story of Serching for Spice, and in this sequel Linda Revere is losing control.

Listen in as we chit-chat about adult children, in which Megan was able to encourage me since I have yet to cross that bridge. ; )

Listen in as Sharon Hinck shares with us about her newest novel, Stepping Into Sunlight. It’s an incredibly moving story and Sharon also has a blog encouraging women to do a small kind act for a different person each day. During the 30 days of September, they are going to do set a goal to do these small kind acts.  Sound fun? Sound scary? Sound impossible?  I’m taking the challenge! Join me here!

About Stepping Into Sunlight:
Penny, a Navy chaplain’s wife, witnesses a violent crime and struggles with post traumatic stress while her husband is on his first deployment. Far from family and friends, she fights to heal for the sake of her seven-year-old son, even though ordinary tasks take heroic efforts. She’s haunted by flashbacks and is tormented by fear, so she designs a project to speed her recovery: doing one small, kind act for a different person each day. The results are sometimes funny, sometimes heartbreaking, and often used by God in surprising ways.

I had the pleasure of reviewing Andrew Clarke’s novel, Outcasts of Skagaray, a while back. I was so impressed by the uniqueness (is uniqueness a word?) of the story that I asked Clarke if he’d allow me an interview. He graciously agreed and now you can hear about the novel and the story behind it in his own words. :)

Dean Barkley Briggs is an author, father of eight, and prone to twisting his ankle playing basketball. He grew up reading J.R.R. Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Patricia McKillip, Guy Gavriel Kay, Stephen R. Donaldson, Ursila K. Leguin, Susan Cooper, Madeline L’Engle, Terry Brooks, Andre Norton and Lloyd Alexander (just to name a few)…and generally thinks most fantasy fiction pales in comparison. (Yes, he dabbled in sci-fi, too. Most notably Bradbury, Burroughs and Heinlein).

Cindy Woodsmall is a veteran homeschool mom. As her children progressed in age, her desire to write grew stronger. After working through reservations whether this desire was something she should pursue, she began her writing journey. Her lastest book, When the Morning Comes, hit the New York Times best-sellers extended list and the Christian Book Association best-sellers list.
