Is Genesis History? is a comprehensive documentary featuring both scientists and scholars explaining how the world as we know it intersects with the history recorded in Genesis. Dr. Del Tackett, creator of The Truth Project, serves as our guide on this journey. Hiking through canyons, climbing up mountains, and diving below the sea, he makes an exploration of two competing views and one compelling truth.

I am a very proud creationist and I love the study of science. Pretty much any field in the science realm makes me happy and I can’t get enough. But too many times I have heard how I cannot be a creationist and be scientifically literate at the same time. This documentary proves the exact opposite. It was very thorough in its information. They went so in detail that I had to watch it a couple of times just to absorb all the information. They discussed geology, the paradigm, Hebrew text, Paleontology, Microbiology, Marine Biology, Genetics, Astronomy, and tons more! They used it all to show why creationism is a valid theory full of actual evidence.

As I watched it I was surprised at just how deep it went. It didn’t just discuss one argument for creationism. It went deeper and deeper and was full of incredible amounts of information and facts for the short run time time of 1 hour and 40 minutes. This documentary flows perfectly and keeps you engaged with new discoveries that will utterly blow your mind. The evidence is strong and logical and very hard to dispute, making evolutionist begin to sweat. It is also a very good documentary for any Christian Homeschoolers who want to go deeper into creationism.

In the end, if you’re a fan of Answers in Genesis and Ken Ham, a Bill Nye critic, or someone who just doesn’t know which side to take, I highly recommend this documentary. I promise you won’t regret it. I believe anybody who wants to take part in the debate Evolution vs Creation, no matter what side you are on, should watch this.
